Joli Paquet!
I thought you might like some peeks at the kit offerings I will have for sale THIS Friday! But first, let me say thank you so much for all of the love on my Artful Blogging feature! You all know how to make a girl feel great! :0)
When I discovered these little cottages with a "window" in them I knew pretty much instantly what I wanted to create with them! This is "Once Upon a Time" I created a little scene inside the window so that you feel like you're looking into a Christmas fairy tale land.
Here's the scene inside. It was hard for me to capture the scene with the little bubble window in place so I thought I would show you just the scene itself and and the project put together without the "window".
Looking through the window reminds me of being transported right into a holiday wonderland, where everything is all sparkley and pretty. Of course, you will receive everything you need to create this project except scissors, glues and paint. I used vintage flocked wallpaper, vintage sheet music, a little cottage scene photocopied from a vintage book, paper posies, a tiny reindeer, vintage tinsel, and glass glitter galore! It was a lot of fun to make!
This is the little cottage lying flat, and you can get a better idea of the "window". (Hmm, maybe I was obsessing with trying to photograph this little darling? LOL)
Here's a peek at a 2nd project. This one uses vintage flocked wallpaper, vintage crepe paper and satin ribbon, a tea stained/glittered dove and more! I'll show you the rest of this project tomorrow. :0)
To answer a few questions I've had about Joli Paquet. It will operate much like last year, and if you were not around last year, I'll explain. Tomorrow I will post on the Joli Paquet blog a photo of each artists kit offering as well as where they will be selling their kits. You can then just hop around and get the ones you love! (which may be a lot, I've seen the projects, and Wow!) I'm excited and know that I will be doing some shopping myself! The kits will all go onsale first thing Friday morning! I think everyone will either be selling the kits from their websites or their etsy stores. My kits will be availbable right here! I hope that clears up some of the questions?
Oh! And one more quick note before I get back to packaging orders, we are postponing Show & Tell until next Sunday! There's just a lot going on this week, sorry! I will announce the next topic on Monday the 17th!
xoxo, Cerri
