Hello! I hope you're all having a wonderful holiday weekend filled with family, friends, and relaxation! I've been working on kits for the shop update tomorrow and I thought you might like some peeks!
I'm super excited about this sweet little "Mommy and Me" art journal kit called "Summer Daydreams". This kit is a collaboration between my daughter and myself, she drew all of the summery stickers that will come with this kit. It's a cloud shaped art journal full of pages for your littles to journal on, scrapbook, or create art on. The pages consist of chipboard, scrapbook paper, lined paper, and even fabric sewn to paper. As well as containing instructions on how to add even more pages if they would like. It also comes complete with a full sticker sheet to color and add to the journal, paint pots, a Coccoina glue stick, and even some puffy stickers. Everything you need except pens or colored pencils to create a fun summer art journal! Since it contains most everything you need, it's perfect for throwing in your bag to keep on hand when your children need some quite time activites or while traveling!
One of my favorite new kits is my "Playing Dress Up" kit. This kit is a perfect "Mommy and Me" project, but also, it's great fun just for us "big girls"! I have sketched and provided you with three patterns based on 1950's paper doll dresses and oodles of supplies like vintage papers, fabrics, ribbons and trims for you to create your own little dresses! And yes(!) the vintage hangers are also included in the kit.
This is another one of the patterns. Cute, right?
I sewed on my dresses, but depending on the age level you are working with, you may choose to simply glue everything together and that would work wonderfully as well!
And the princesses have already been boxed up along with their vintage jewels and bits and bobs that you may want to use to feather their sweet little nests. All kits will come with gorgeous vintage rhinestone (or pearls for the white birds) jewels, genuine swarovski crstyals, (or pearls), crowns, beads, tulle, and other fabulous "nesting" materials, as well as complete instructions for creating your Princess!
I also have some fabulous new trims and ribbons that will be available tomorrow as well. Love this sweet ribbon!
Ok, back to work for me! I'm still gettting everything boxed up and writing instructions. See you tomorrow!
Cerri xoxo

Cerri...to cool, the dress that you made with the red polkas is the same as the one I just purchased a couple months for - now hold on to your seats this is a really big price - the price was $3.00 can you believe it brand you with tags on it and it dated back to the late forties or fifties...so I know for sure I will be purchasing one of those kits to make a duplicate mini dress...and displaying it the same way that you did...ahhh again to cool...have a honey of a night - sweet dreams! Great kits! I would love to win this for my budding scrapper! My daughter loves to go to the scrap store almost as much as I do!
