Hello! It's been a long time. MUCH longer than I ever thought I would be away. I guess, really I've just been in a funk. It's been a gray winter here, and I need more sunshine for sure. I haven't felt very inspired, and sometimes life is just hard. I know you all don't come here to hear me whine about how hard teenagers are sometimes, or any of that stuff. So, I'll just skip all that, and jump right back into where we left off, ok? Besides, who couldn't find some inspiration with ROMANCE in the air?
You might be happy to know that even though I have been absent from my blog, I've still been working on things for the shop. I have lots of new things to share, but first I wanted to tell you about this Romantic embellishment kit I put together. I wanted to put together something that could work for Valentines day, but doesn't scream Valentines. Something softer, that could be used for any project, anytime that you need a touch of romance.
Almost everything in this kit has been handy dyed and "aged" by me in lovely shades of sepia and pink. My favorite romantic colors.
There are tags, vintage lace, and embellishments, and you can get a complete listing and order the kit if you would like right here.
The entire kit is packaged in a lovely sinamay envelope that has also been dyed and wrapped up with champagne silk ribbon and hand dyed vintage roses. Don't you just love it?
There are lots of other new items in the shop too, and I'll share the rest of of them here tomorrow, but you can see them all now by clicking here.
I will hopefully never take a month long blog break again. :) I missed all of you!
Cerri xoxo

Cerri, so glad you're back! Yes, I have one teenager and we don't need to mention how hard this can be in conjunction with an overall lack of sunshine and warmth. Love your new Valentine Kit - so pretty!

Beautiful embellishment kits! You did a fab job on these, they are romantic, but not limited to Valentines. The bags you created are really perfect.
The Funk has been a visitor to many homes this cold winter. It is so lovely when the sun comes out, everything seems so much better!
And add some teenagers to dark winter days and....well, it can be very testing : )
Bless their hearts!
I am wishing sunshine for you and I send you hugs,
Terri

Ceri, I know just how you feel. I can't get anything done in the winter, just drag around. I am going to Fla for 12 days for the cure. Glad to see all your new stuff. The romantic stuff is wonderful. Hope we have an early spring in Tn.

I don't even want to the think about the teenage years yet but in seven months I won't be able to escape it. Your romantic inspiration kits in sepia and pink are lush and yummy! I am ready for some warmer weather and sunshine too!

I was glad to see you back Cerri! I have been anxiously awaiting your next post, I check it frequently. :-) You have fans who miss you. I enjoyed making the pink princess and the frosty Christmas scene. I haven't made the Christmas trees but will later in the year. Your embellishment kit is lovely. Keep up the wonderful work!
