Cyber Monday

Hello. Originally, I had planned to do a cyber Monday sale, however since I had to postpone my shop update until late last week I didn't think it would be fair to my customers that have shopped with me just last week to offer a sale today, so I am skipping that this year. However, if you're a fan of my oldest daugther's work, she is having a sale in her etsy shop. 

And while I'm not offering a sale, I'm going to be including some lovely freebies in orders from my shop. There are still some great holiday crafty things to be had. (great gifts too!)

(a note about the domes, I will be checking first thing on Monday to see if I will be able to restock. I purchased a decent amount of them, but they were a little more popular than I anticipated. I will let you know if I am able to get more-but I do believe there are a few of the glass ornaments left at this time. )

Kits!

Finally! The last of the product previews-our kits! I seriously had more kit ideas than I had time this year, but I have a few of them ready to go in the shop. First up, is our lace wreath and mitten ornaments. 

This kit will include all the materials to make three gorgeous ornaments including the wooden ornaments, antique and vintage lace, bottle brush tree, collage images, pearls, tiny glittered pinecones, beautiful seam binding, etc. 

The attention to detail on my kits this year is pretty special. (even more so than I normally do!) The ornament kit will come packaged as shown in this embellished burlap bag. So many goodies tucked inside!

Wrap it up: This is really an inspiration kit. Included you will receive 3 large, blank matchboxes and all sorts of vintage materials to make them special. There are vintage images on fabric and paper, antique and vintage lace bits, died ribbon, tiny vintage millinery, petite pinecones, buttons, and more to play and create little boxes to your hearts content. This kit will also be packaged in an embellished burlap bag, which makes it a perfect gift for your crafty friends. 

I also brought back a couple of favorites. This was one of my very first kits and I still get asked about it every year. This year I decided to bring it back again, but to change it up a bit. So, you will receive enough materials to make three collage angel ornaments!

This kit will include all sorts of vintage wallpaper, printed wax paper, iridescent paper, chipboard, templates, embellishments, mica flakes, and more! You don't have to make your angels pink, you can choose from the wide assortment of vintage wallpapers in the kit! 

I was also able to put together a couple of my snow princess kits from last year. Such a sweet little kit. 

And lastly, I was able to put together a few more of my bird waltz ornament kits. (previously sold out)

What's new! (and day three giveaway)

Hello! In keeping on with the holiday open house (previously delayed due to a family crisis-in case you are just tuning in), I have more previews of the new things in the shop. All shop items will be live Wed. evening. I have one more preview to share with you and that is our handmade kits. Here's what we have to share today. 

Looove these little glass dome ornaments and cloche. Create any miniature vignette inside and then glue the glass to the bottom. So cute!

Super sweet farm house, church, and cottage ornaments ready to be embellished by you. They arrive flat, for ease in decorating and then are easily assembled to create the cutest little ornaments. Love. 

And of course we have all sorts of pretty papers and albums for your paper crafting/memory keeping projects. The image above of the mini album doesn't do it justice, it's stunning.

Let's pick up where we left off, shall we?

Let's just pick up where we left off with the holiday open house, shall we? Honestly, the shop and creating things is pure therapy for me. And right now, I just need to pour myself into things so as to try and have some semblance of normal. I do want to say again though, thank you to each and every one of you for your support through this. It was incredibly comforting to know that people all around the world were thinking of and praying for my daughter while she was missing. 

I adore vintage religious images, don't you? So beautiful.

PS, the Tuesday Tutorials will pick back up next week. I just wasn't able to prepare that this week. I know you'll understand that. 

Update.

Thank your from the bottom of my heart for your prayers and support over my daughter today. She is safe. She is unfortunately still not home with me, but at least I do know she is safe. My oldest daughter is also ok, although she totalled her car. This without a doubt has been the longest, hardest, and most gut wrenching two days of my entire life. 

I hate to bring this kind of thing to my blog, as it is not what you come here for. Unfortunately life can be messy sometimes, and I am only human trying to do it all the best that I know how. I reached out today because I was not sure whether my very impressionable daughter was alive or dead. And I knew we needed prayer.  I didn't know where she was and had not heard from her in two days. Raising teenagers is not an easy task, especially one that suffers from a mental illness. 

Again, thank you for your support and your prayer. I do believe that prayer is what kept her safe. I have to work, and so will resume the update very soon. First, I need to sleep, eat, and praise God.

Hello. Everything is on hold right now. My daughter is missing, and has been gone since 10pm last night. I am asking you to please blanket my daughter in prayer right now. Her name is Trintge. I need her to come home safe. Please just blanket her in prayer and tell everyone you know.
