Hello! I hope you're having a lovely Valentines day!
I wanted to share with you the other project I made with my Mom the other day. We made these little lace and millinery covered heart boxes. Originally, I planned to create a tutorial to show you how we made these, but then the boxes sold out so quickly, and I didn't want to show you how to make something that I didn't have a source for.
But I will tell you that they're simply painted, covered with layers of antique lace remnants, and a little millinery glued on top of that. Pretty simple, but lovely, don't you think? I saved a few out for myself to create more like this, and had planned to sell those in the shop, but I wasn't able to complete any except for the one. I don't suppose people are buying heart boxes after Valentines day, right? :)
Hopefully after we get the studio/shop move completed I will have more time for creating again as I have lots of ideas stirring around.
I hope your day is filled with love and you're spending it with your sweethearts.
One more sweet image for you.
xoxo, Cerri

You did a fabulous job with the heart box Cerri it came out so very pretty, I love the net lace you used and the millinery too of course! Isn't it a pity that we didn't buy more of these boxes as long as we still had the chance? Mine are going away so quickly too *sigh*
Sending you very happy belated Valentine's day wishes!
xoxo~ Carola
