Hello! As promised, I am here to share with you my newest creative collage book. When I started this book, I loved the idea of doll houses and I wanted to explore all of the things that go along with them, from, the little girls that played with them, to their dolls, and the vintage fabrics and papers used to decorate them. I used all sorts of antique photos of little girls with their dolls, and all sorts of vintage doll images I could find. I also embellished the book both inside and out with a hodge podge of vintage materials I would decorate my doll house with. This is going to be a photo heavy post, so let's get started.
I have to say, I had so much fun putting this book together! If you would like to make one yourself, I have some kits available right here. You can read more about the contents of the kit on the website, but it's filled with all sorts of vintage fabric and trims, new and old papers, the album, a couple of extra pages to see if you can squeeze even more into your book, and all of the sweet little images used. Tons of great stuff! I am also including full instructions of how I created my book, but you will certainly have enough material and images to make the book totally your own. In fact, I think this book would be cute with photos of your little girls and their dolls. And I would have LOVED to have had photos of my Grandma, and Mom with their dolls. Maybe you're lucky enough to have photos like that? Also, contrary to most of the books I create, there is no sewing in this book! It's all created with scissors, paper, paint, and glue!
All of the other new items I shared with you in the previous post are now available on the website. You can see everything that is new by clicking here.
Also as mentioned in my previous post, ALL scrapbooking items have been marked down by at least 40%. I am discontinuing that section of my shop, so once they're gone, they're gone.
And lastly, in yesterday's post I completely forgot to mention another new category I am so happy to include in the shop: Collage sheets! I have been dreaming up collage sheets for quite some time now, and have wanted to start adding collage sheets for oh, at least 2 years now. Ha. But I wanted them to have something different to offer...So, I am happy to say that all of my collage sheets can be printed on tea dyed muslin, standard muslin, and of course cardstock.
Here's an example of one of my collage sheets and how the images appear printed on tea dyed muslin. The collage sheet itself is on top, and the images on the bottom are examples of it printed on the fabric. I LOVE how these turn out. If you're a subscriber to The Little Pink Box, you've already received some miniature collage sheets printed this way. You can read more about them, and see all of my current sheets right here. I am super excited about this and will be adding new collage sheets regularly.
That's it for me today, I've been up all night getting all of the listings finished and this blog post completed, so I really need to head to bed. :)
Thanks as always for reading along with me and your continued support of my little shop! xo, Cerri
