My Mom says my very first word was "Go". I have always liked being on the go, since a little girl. She tell stories about me packing up my baby dolls in their buggy, putting on my sweater and purse and deciding I was "going to town" at the age of 3. She tells me she would have to watch me, or I really would start down the road, headed towards "town".
As I have gotten older, I have turned into more of a "homebody", at least more than I ever thought I would. Except when it comes to traveling, I still love to travel.
I love visting new places, exploring new cities, and of course shopping and treasure hunting in places other than home.
So when my wonderful husband said he had to go on a trip, and did I want to come, my answer was "of course!" A long weekend, just us. Gotta love that.
So, I'm sorry I missed Show & Tell today, but I think you'll understand, won't you? Right now, I'm sipping a pina colada in our beautiful one bedroom suite at the Mayflower hotel.
Sometimes, I love my husbands job!
We'll be home soon, just a long weekend. Have you guessed where we are yet?
I'll post more photos tomorrow. :0)
Much love, Cerri xoxo
Edited to add: Typepad's new features are messing things up here, my post looks wierd. I'll to try and figure this out later. Sorry.

Hmm Mayflower Hotel (Our NY ex Governor's Sex scandal Hotel) and Georgetown you are in DC! Yay. I was there a few months ago my company owns the ST. Regis. Had a blast. There is a cute cupcake store down the street from Deane and Daluca in Georgetown, was closed when I was there this last time. Paper Source I love that store also. Have fun! Hugs Grace
