Thank you for joining us for another Show & Tell! I am just loving this so much, it's wonderful to visit so many lovely blogs, make new friends and of course see what everyone collects! Thank you for participating and making this so fun!
Sorry for the delay in adding my phots, we have had rain all week and I really needed some sunshine to show you these things, so you'll have to excuse my photos and my wrinkles. :0) (the iron and I are not friends)
I don't really collect that many vintage linens, but my very favorite thing are old pillow cases. Especially these small, frilly ones. Aren't they beauties? These are all being lovingly stored for now but I think when I am finished with the studio I will put them in pillows in the bay window.
I have to wonder about them as they are all a smaller size. Were they used in a little girl's room? They are all so sweet, even looking at them folded makes my heart melt.
You'll really have to excuse my wrinkles here, but these sweet, sweet little dresser scarves belonged to my Great Grandma and I adore them. I have some that are sitting out, but these two have been wrapped in tissue and stored in my vintage hat boxes. (where I keep most of my smaller vintage linens)
I will admit too, that my heart goes pitter pat over vintage embroidery. I adore it. This beauty is a pillow cover I found. Whomever did the beautiful embroidery never finished the pillow as the instructions for finishing it are still printed on the edges. This one will definitely be donning a pillow in my studio soon.
This is the edge of a very sweet set of curtains that hung in my old studio, and I am hoping they will work in the new one too. I again, adore the embroidery.
This beauty is one of my favorite finds ever! This is a long table runner I believe, so their are two ends with the enchanting embroidery!
This is the other end! I promised my Momma when I found it that we would share this one, so my plan is toe cut it in half, add a little rod pocket so that it can become a wall hanging. We'll each have one then. It's on my lists of things to do anyway....
I use a lot of vintage linens in my camper. I have a decent sized collection of vintage crocheted pot holders, but most of them are in there, so I only have these 2 to show you. I'll have to show you the rest when we go camping this summer.
I also have a thing for old quilted things. (Don't we all?) I use old quilts in my camper too, and I have one that my husband's mamaw made on the back of my couch. I snuggle up in it everytime I watch tv.
Ok, enough photos for today, I am off to look at everyone else's collections!
Here's your list. :0)
Edited to add: Your list has shrunken a little as I have been looking at the blogs. I have been removing links that are not actually doing Show & Tell today. I think some people may have forgotten since they signed up, or it appears some people simply had other agendas. Show & Tell is open to anyone that wants to join anytime, but please remember that people are visiting your blog to see your collection that matches the weeks theme. Thank you!

Hi Cerri thanks for hosting - your collection is amazing - you American girls have the best stuff! I don't think I have ever seen the crochet pot holders available here - they are so cute.
It was dark and gloomy here this morning for taking photos of white linens....never mind, I did my best.

And you have one of the loveliest pillow case collections I've seen. I have a ton too and I sleep on them too. I really use what I have and sometimes regret that when I forget to take off my mascara at night...
Fun topic!

Cerri, your linens are exquisite. I adore the one with the couple on it.
I apologize for not getting my post done. I had some wonderful things I wanted to share, but I had something unexpected come up, and I just didn't get it done.
I promise to do better the next time I sign up. This was the first time I signed up, and I was so busy that it didn't occur to me to come back and let you know. One of my "duh" moments.

Cerri, your collection is gorgeous...the pillowcases are so sweet, i love them to pieces:) the lace work makes them extra pretty...most of my linens are wrinkled too, i don't like to iron either!!! and i had similar problems with sunshine this morning, although of course the sun is shining now to beat the band...

Hi Cerri, I love embroidery too! I love the way an entire scene can be created out of tiny stitches and colorful thread. It almost comes to life. Love your pictures!
