Hello there, I hope you're having a lovely week so far. I'm just popping on here today to share some of my recent finds. And by recent, I actually mean the weekend before Valentine's day. The last weekend I wasn't sick, ha.
Every time I say that I have enough vintage hankies, I find some that I simply can't live without. Like these beautiful crocheted edge hankies. And look at the one above with the crocheted flowers, could you turn away from that? Especially when it was like, $3?
Ok, so there were quite a few with pretty edges I couldn't resist, but just look at them! Sigh. But don't you worry, I have already used a couple of these hankies, in a little book project I'll show you tomorrow. (if the sunshine cooperates, that is) So, I'm not just hoarding them. :)
Then, there was the vintage paper scraps. Now really, who can pass these by? They were all inexpensive, authentic, and just beautiful. I have to wonder what the scrap/label above was for. It's about 2.5" wide, and so much detail in that little space.
And the roses. I always love the vintage rose paper scraps, and these were a great deal, some a $1, some 3 for a $1. And yep, I've already used one of these too.
This is just a little snippet of the sweet little Valentine book I made while I was away. A bit of felted wool, old lace, tulle ruffles, and one of those sweet rose scraps.
So, that's it for me, my most recent finds. I am hoping to do a bit of antiquing with my Mr. this weekend though, we're working on redecorating our bedroom, and you know, I need some things. I'll let you know what we find.
By the way, all of these photos were just snapped with my phone and loaded on instagram. ( @cerricampbell ) I am trying to add photos there pretty regularly if you'd like to follow along.
What have you found recently? Link in the comments if you have a post showing your most recent finds, I would love to see.

Hi Cerri!! What a lovely project!!! I am always so inspired by your creations! It's taken me a while to get it blogged, but I had great fun decorating the shadowbox house I got in your store around the holidays and would love you to see how it turned out!
